Volvo Group Conducts 'Yukti' Workshop to Strengthen Girl Student's Future in STEM

Volvo Group, a multinational manufacturing corporation, has recently announced a STEM workshop for schoolgirls ‘Yukti’ at Kendriya Vidyalaya, DRDO, Bangalore. Aligning with the group’s larger vision, the workshop comes forth to bridge the gap between academia and industry arousing curiosity and engagement in real-world scenarios.
A total of 240 enthusiastic students from grades VIII & IX were guided by a team of Volvo Group volunteers to experience hands-on Virtual Reality learning and attain practical exposure to harness their skills.
The event was made notable by the presence of Kamal Bali, President and Managing Director of Volvo Group India, and Radhika Nair, Head of People & Culture at Volvo Group India. In his keynote speech, Kamal laid emphasis on the company’s dedication to encouraging independent professionals in becoming India’s future talent pool.
The workshop is a leap in sparking curiosity and inspiring change to build financially independent future women leaders. Fostering to create diverse and inclusive industry, an introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision were emphasized upon to reflects its global value.
