Sharanya Mudundi, who is based in Visakhapatnam, is quite adept at managing a variety of responsibilities and striking a balance. The 15-year-old claims her capacity for time management and task prioritisation help her achieve her goals as she adds the "Global Child Prodigy Award" to her collection. Sharanya was honoured in a ceremony that just ended in Dubai among other winners from the US, UK, France, Russia, Brazil, and Kenya as one of the top 100 honorees of the highly sought worldwide award in the category of art and culture.

The Global Child Prodigy Awards are a global programme for child prodigies that yearly honours the top 100 child prodigies from all over the world and recognises youthful talent in a variety of fields, including sports, innovation, academics, the arts, and culture. Sharanya, a student at Visakha Valley School in Class X, claims that her parents, M. Swati, vice-president of the Waltair Inner Wheel Club, and M. Suryanarayana Raju, an assistant general manager at Ashoka Buildcon Ltd., are her biggest sources of support.  "I am grateful that my parents are extremely supportive and help me in realising my academic pursuits and co-curricular activities," says Sharanya.

For her abilities in Carnatic music, Sharanya previously won a number of national and international prizes, including the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2020. Sharanya not only made it into the India Book of Records and the World Book of Records, but she also won accolades including the Youth Icon 2021 award from the UK's Youth Connect Organization, the Global Kids Achievers Bal Ratna Award, and the International Achievement India Award 2021. When Sharanya was eight years old, she started listening to Carnatic music. Her most treasured memory, among others, was when she played music for the Ministry of Women and Child Development at the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2020 closing ceremony.

Sharanya succeeds in a variety of other hobbies in addition to accomplishing her scholastic goals, including Carnatic music, sports, karate, painting, and guitar playing. A Mallikarjuna, the chairman of Visakha Valley School and the district collector, praised Sharanya for her accomplishment and praised her efforts for bringing honour to the state. Sharanya has a number of unique qualities, according to Dr. Eshwari Prabhakar, principal of Visakha Valley School, including the ability to multitask, handle several facets with ease, and perform equally well in academics.
