Vaishali Tyagi Joins Stashfin as Deputy VP & Head HR

Stashfin, a fintech company, has recently made public the hiring of Vaishali Tyagi as Deputy Vice President, Head HR. With this move, the company is putting in her hands the main role of driving its people strategy and also fostering a high-performance, people-first culture that has been the key to its growth and innovations.
As Deputy Vice President, Head HR Vaishali will be the main person responsible for the implementation of various initiatives ranging from HR transformation, leadership development, employee experience, organizational effectiveness, learning and development, to culture building. Besides she will also be a major contributor in setting the talent strategy of the company in line with its business objectives of the long term, at the same time building a workforce that is agile and ready for the future.

Vaishali has been working in the field of human resources for more than a decade, engaging with various industries such as fintech, banking, insurance, retail, workplace services, and technology-enabled businesses. Through her years of experience, she has become a known figure in strategic HR and she is skilful in areas like business partnering, AI-enabled hiring, talent development, building organizational culture, and workforce transformation.
Vaishali's coming on board signals a deeper focus of Stashfin on its people strategy and taking steps towards an environment where innovation, employee development, and organizational excellence are the key elements. Her efforts will be directed towards establishing scalable HR processes that will be in line with supporting the company's ongoing growth.
Prior to Stashfin, Vaishali was at Cars24. Most recently, she was the Head of Business Partnering & Learning & Development. At Cars24, she was heading business partnering across the retail sector and leading learning and development initiatives for retail and procurement functions. Besides capability-building, leadership development, and using AI in hiring and training, she was instrumental in building high performing teams and a people-centric work culture.
Previously at Cars24, she was the Head of People & Culture (Retail) and was accountable for leading the people agenda of the company, reinforcing the culture of the organization, deepening employee engagement, and creating scalable HR practices in line with business expansion. She was previously an HR Strategy Consultant, guiding enterprises on strategic people issues and change management.
Before that, Vaishali served as Head HR, Compass @Google India at Compass Group India where she was leading the HR function for one of the organization's flagship partnerships. She was in charge of talent management, HR transformation, employee engagement, and people operations. Prior to Compass Group India, she was with Aditya Birla Health Insurance Company Limited for over three years, initially a Senior Manager, HRand later promoted to Deputy Chief Manager, HR, thereby playing a part in talent management, HR systems, and organizational capability initiatives.
