Overall this initiative seeks to address the ongoing problem of gender inequity and lack of women's empowerment.
The overarching goal of this campaign is to educate both men and women on the rights of women in order to encourage greater participation by women in their education, equal access to working environments, and participation in making the decisions for the future of their communities.
Additionally, this campaign seeks to highlight the importance of changing community attitudes, and reviewing the outdated social norms that continue to create barriers to success for women.

These events partly offer men and women a venue to talk about and become aware of gender discrimination.
Furthermore, social media allows for access to the campaign's message through urban and rural audiences, thereby creating several layers of public exposure to the injustices caused by gender and the need to empower women.
Goals of Nayi Chetna 4.0: This programme aims to raise awareness about present gender issues and the importance of these issues, in addition to providing greater opportunities for women. Nayi Chetna 4.0 also encourages greater community participation in helping to eradicate gender-based disparities.
Future Directions and Government Support: This programme is yet another example of the government's ongoing commitment to supporting gender equity.
Government officials stated that the continued partnership with surrounding and significant stakeholders (NON-Governmental Organisations and other Community Leaders) will be necessary for future success.
