UHM Acquires Rosastays, Deepika Arora to Lead India Operations

With the acquisition of Rosastays, UHM has marked its entry into the Indian market. This becomes a strategic milestone in UHM's growth and offers the company a foothold on the ground, with 17 boutique properties in destinations such as Goa, Kasauli, Nainital, Pushkar and Shimla. Certain Rosastays properties will start getting rebranded under UHM between Q4 2025 and Q1 2026.

UHM also has a development pipeline of over 700 keys including projects with IHG Hotels & Resorts under the Garner brand, he said while underlining the chain's long-term focus on the growing hospitality sector in South Asia.

Klaus Assmann, COO, United Hospitality Management Middle East, India & Southeast Asia, said that India is one of the most dynamic hospitality markets in the world, while highlighting the company's long-term investment strategy for the region.

Deepika Arora is a well-known hospitality industry leader with over two decades of experience and has been appointed Managing Director for UHM – India. She will drive the company's efforts in building an owner-focused hospitality platform in the country.

She opined that the hospitality sector in India is evolving toward authentic, design-led, and differentiated guest experiences, while UHM will introduce global systems and operational expertise to support partner growth.

Under the leadership of Deepika, Rosastays also supports Dusit Hotels & Resorts across the Indian Subcontinent, further strengthening strategic alignment.
