UHM Acquires Rosastays, Deepika Arora to Lead India Operations

- United Hospitality Management entered the Indian market with the acquisition of Rosastays
- The acquisition supports UHM's global expansion plans
- UHM now boasts of an on-ground presence with 17 boutique properties across key leisure destinations
With the acquisition of Rosastays, UHM has marked its entry into the Indian market. This becomes a strategic milestone in UHM's growth and offers the company a foothold on the ground, with 17 boutique properties in destinations such as Goa, Kasauli, Nainital, Pushkar and Shimla. Certain Rosastays properties will start getting rebranded under UHM between Q4 2025 and Q1 2026.
UHM also has a development pipeline of over 700 keys including projects with IHG Hotels & Resorts under the Garner brand, he said while underlining the chain's long-term focus on the growing hospitality sector in South Asia.
Klaus Assmann, COO, United Hospitality Management Middle East, India & Southeast Asia, said that India is one of the most dynamic hospitality markets in the world, while highlighting the company's long-term investment strategy for the region.
Deepika Arora is a well-known hospitality industry leader with over two decades of experience and has been appointed Managing Director for UHM – India. She will drive the company's efforts in building an owner-focused hospitality platform in the country.
She opined that the hospitality sector in India is evolving toward authentic, design-led, and differentiated guest experiences, while UHM will introduce global systems and operational expertise to support partner growth.
Under the leadership of Deepika, Rosastays also supports Dusit Hotels & Resorts across the Indian Subcontinent, further strengthening strategic alignment.
Powered by over three decades of luxury hospitality experience, UHM operates an impressive portfolio across Europe and the Middle East
But beyond hotel operations, UHM runs more than 60 dining outlets and is also behind wellness brands like Serenity – The Art of Wellbeing, Pure by Serenity, and the gym brand Active by Serenity.
UHM leverages international expertise along with local market insight and works with major hospitality brands including Marriott, Accor, Wyndham, Hyatt, Yotel and IHG. Its foray into India mirrors this philosophy, underpinned by experienced leadership, owner-focused systems and a long-term strategic vision.
