Top Indian players are set to take part in the Asian WTTC Continental Stage. Sathiyan Gnanasekaran in men’s and Manika Batra in women’s will be the top seeds from India. Manika Batra recently moved up to the 35th spot in the singles. This is her career-best ranking. Veteran Achanta Sarath Kamal will be part of the event as well.

On Sunday Batra won the first round in just 19 minutes making the final score 4-0 against Uzbekistan’s Magdieva Markhabo. She will now go up against Singapore’s Zhu Chengzhu on Monday.

Smriti Mandhana has inked a Sponsorship Agreement with Herbalife Nutrition India

International women's cricketer Smriti Mandhana and the nutrition brand Herbalife Nutrition India Private Limited are working together as a "nutrition sponsor." According to the business, 150 teams and athletes are sponsored globally.

The company claimed that Mandhana has had a remarkable journey and that her outstanding batting performances have rocked the world of cricket. She now serves as the Indian women's national cricket team's vice-captain.

Anjum Chopra has Offered a Scholarship for Young, Exceptional Female Cricket Players

The Anjum Chopra scholarship, which seeks to assist and foster the growth of young, talented female cricket players, was launched by PUSH Sports.

The scholarship provides a yearly stipend of INR 1 lakh for training at PUSH Sports Arenas as well as the chance to take part in special tours around India and overseas for a full year.

Aspiring athletes will be able to realise their full potential both on and off the field with the aid of this scholarship. These chances have arisen as a result of Push Sports' ongoing national emphasis on women's and girls' cricket.

Women's Health Platform Gytree.com raises funds led by Biocon's Kiran Mazumdar Shaw & Others

Gytree.com, a platform for women's health, raised funds on January 11 from a group of investors that included Kiran Mazumdar Shaw of Biocon, Ajay Srinivasan, the former CEO of Aditya Birla Capital, Rainmatter Investments, and Anubhuti Sharma of the Millie Clinic in San Francisco.

According to Swarnima Bhattacharya, chief product officer of Gytree, "We will use the funding to offer more diverse health services for women, add additional health features to women's dashboards, and scale and develop services focused on women in the workplace."

Arre Voice collaborates with Akshara Centre for Womens Safety

Podcast app Arré Voices collaborates with Akshara Centre to focus on women’s safety. Together they will contribute efforts in support of women's safety. Arré Voice provides a podcast app that provides women a platform to speak up about their problems such as domestic violence, which has been on the rise recently and were most visible during the pandemic period and post-pandemic period. Here they can talk about every kind of abuse they go through like emotional, physical, or even financial. It focuses more on empowering women in every field they go to.

This tech-enabled intervention has been designed in a way that provides facilities to access helplines and support groups which will ensure that awareness of women's safety is raised.

A Video Album released by Union Minister to increase Awareness of Crimes against Women and Children

The lyrics of the recently released video album by two incredibly brilliant young people from Chankyapuri's Sanjay Camp, "Uski Kya Galti Thi," are nerve-wracking. The lyrics raise important issues on the increase in crimes against women and children nationwide. The two kids expressed important questions regarding the protection of children and women in the colourful event at Shri Ram Center tonight as we watched the terrifying scene from the Kanjhawala incident in silence on the eve of the new year.

SIDBI and AMFI collaborates to support Bengal's Female Entrepreneurs

In order to promote female entrepreneurs in the underdeveloped districts of West Bengal, the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) will collaborate with the Association of Microfinance Institutions of India (AMFI).

According to Sudatta Mandal, the SIDBI's deputy managing director, women business owners will also receive assistance in establishing finance and market connections.
