The first match of the inaugural Tata WPL 2023 is won by Mumbai Indians defeating Gujarat Giants by 143 runs. Indian Team skipper Harmanpreet Kaur who is also leading the team Mumbai Indians has made the highest score of 65 runs in 30. She is considered to be the game changer for the team.
Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) initiative Tata Women's Premier League (WPL) 2023 started with a full swing on Saturday, March 4, and made history by starting the match between Gujarat Giants (GG) and Mumbai Indians (MI).

Amazon India has announced a partnership with Womennovator, a worldwide incubator for women entrepreneurs, to aid their expansion across India and the globe.
Amazon will help 200 women entrepreneurs publish their items on its worldwide marketplaces and websites as part of this partnership in order to build global brands from India.
These includes companies like Bunko Junko, KidsyWinsy, Vishaala Naturals, Gems & Diamonds, and others. These businesspeople operate in a variety of industries, including those related to clothing, cosmetics, jewellery, spices, toiletries, handicrafts, home furnishings, and office supplies.

On the occasion of Women’s day, every spectator who wants to witness the mega tournament of Tata Women's Premier League (WPL) 2023 between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Giants will get a free entry at the Brabourne Stadium CCI. The inaugural season of Tata Women's Premier League 2023 has been started on 4 March 2023. In total 4 matches have been played to date with a doubleheader match on Sunday 5 March.
The women players are giving their best for their respective teams. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur who is also the skipper of the franchise Mumbai Indians is the leading scorer whereas Saika Ishaque of the same franchise has bagged the most number of wickets till now.

Heal-Station organized the initiative of performing Yoga anytime anywhere in collaboration with the Western Railway. On Wednesday 8 March 2023, several female instructors performed Yoga on the local trains of Mumbai to commemorate both International Women's Day and Holi.
Various Yoga instructors from Mumbai who conduct yoga classes practiced different forms of Yoga while wearing 'sarees' to convey a strong message that yoga can be practiced at any time, anywhere, and in any costume, you are carrying.
Orion Innovation intends to raise the number of Women Employees by 15 percent in India
Orion Innovation, a provider of digital transformation and product development services, pledged on Wednesday to increase the number of women employees in the nation by 15%.
Orion stated that the 2,500-person headcount in India had increased by 25%. The company also plans to hire over 5,000 new employees by 2025. To honour the power, fortitude, and tenacity of women who contributed to the social, economic, cultural, and political successes, Hyundai Motor India created the #TheDriveWithin campaign, which features the inspirational true-life tales of Indian women cricket players.
Also, the OEM held a motivational workshop on grabbing success and women leadership at all its dealerships to remove obstacles and build a more fair workplace for all employees.

This was the seventh match of the mega tournament which was held at the DY Patil Stadium, in Mumbai. Team DC won the toss and choose to bat first, but was all out at 18 overs making 105 runs.
In a First All-female staff operates passenger train in Jharkhand
The passenger train from Ranchi, Jharkhand will run 110 km and reach Tori in 2.35 hours, which will be operated by the all-female crew in honour of International Women's Day which was on Wednesday 8 March. The train carrying hundreds of passengers will cover 14 stoppages on Friday.
This programme has been conducted on Friday since on Wednesday both Women's Day and Holi were celebrated, said by an official.
