Tata WPL 2023: UPW registers its third win; thrashes MI by 5 wickets

The Tata WPL 2023 Mumbai Indian vs UP Warriorz: A proud moment for the players of UP Warriorz as they beat Mumbai Indians by 5 wickets. MI which is the leading team of Tata Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023 with the highest 10 points lost their sixth match against UPW on Saturday. It was a double headers day where both teams locked horns at the DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai at 3:30 p.m. Mumbai, led by Harmanpreet Kaur has been the first team to qualify for the knockout round, they need two more points to fix their place into finals.
Team UP Warriorz wins the toss and elected to bowl first against Mumbai Indians. The bowling of UPW restricted MI to just make a score of 127. They took 5 wickets off MI and scored 129 in 19.3 overs. Grace Harris led the team UPW scoring the highest 39 runs while Tahila McGrath added 38 runs. Sophie Ecclestone grabbed 3 wickets for Mumbai.
