Tata WPL 2023: Ticket to the Finals, Mumbai wins by 72 runs

The Tata WPL 2023 Mumbai Indians vs UP Warriorz: Power team Mumbai Indians enter the finals by thrashing UP Warriorz at the eliminators on Friday at the DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai. They achieved a victory of 72 runs over UPW.
The match began with winning the toss by UPW choosing to bowl first against Mumbai Indians. Team Mumbai secured 182 runs losing 4 wickets in 20 overs which became difficult to reach for UPW players as they settled down to just 110 runs in 17.4 overs losing all the players. MI player Nat Sciver-Brunt’s unbeaten 72 runs off just 38 balls helped the team to mark the victory. Whereas, people witnessed the first-ever Hattrick in the inaugural Tata Women’s Premier League 2023 MI player Issy Wong. She took 3 straight wickets of Navgire, Shaikh, and Ecclestone. Issy is the highest wicket-taker during the match taking 4 wickets down.
Team Mumbai has some of the best-playing XI members which led them to win all the matches during the league except 2. They were the table toppers but two losses pulled them down to the second position making Delhi Capitals the table toppers. DC has already reached the finals, now both the finalist teams Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals will compete against each other for the championship trophy of Tata WPL 2023 on Sunday 26 March.
