Accor-managed upscale hotel Grand Mercure Bangalore has appointed Tarushree Singh as its new Director of Sales & Marketing to strengthen its commercial leadership team and drive business growth in Bengaluru's competitive hospitality market.
With a rich experience of 18 years in the hospitality industry in India, Tarushree brings rich experiences in sales leadership, commercial strategy, revenue management and business development to the Accor-managed property. She has served in prominent leadership positions at renowned hospitality providers such as The Oberoi Group, ITC Hotels, Accor, Radisson Hotel Group and The Oterra throughout her career.
As a new addition to the team, Tarushree will assume the leadership of the hotel's sales and marketing efforts build and nurture customer relationships, and champion new business opportunities and revenue development in key market segments.
She will also be expected to have a strong relationship with the leadership team to build Grand Mercure Bangalore's brand presence in the hotel market of Bengaluru and achieve commercial excellence, both from an overall perspective and in terms of the property's distribution and market penetration amongst its corporate, leisure and MICE clientele.

Tarushree was previously with The Oterra, Bengaluru, as Director of Sales & Marketing before joining the Grand Mercure Bangalore. Throughout her tenure, she guided the hotel to its highest ever revenue performance while delivering substantial growth in the hotel's Average Daily Rate (ADR). Her efforts led to her being named the hotel's “Leader of the Year,” for highest annual revenue increase since opening day.
Previously in her career Tarushree served as a commercial leader at various hotels such as Novotel Pune, Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre, ibis Bengaluru Techpark, Novotel Bengaluru Techpark and ITC Hotels. Through these positions, she was able to acquire broad experience in managing commercial operations across several markets and customer segments and achieve consistent growth of the businesses.
Singh has established a reputation for her ability to create efficient and effective sales teams, devise revenue-generating strategies, and facilitate growth and expansion in the competitive hospitality industry. With her extensive background in corporate sales, strategic partnerships, revenue optimization, and customer engagement, she brings a wealth of experience to the table, poised to play a pivotal role in the ongoing growth of Grand Mercure Bangalore.
