Sreeja Akula Wins Women's Singles final at 2024 WTT Championship Tournament

Women's singles in WTT Championship Tournament 2024 in Feeder Beirut II ended with Indian table tennis player Sreeja Akula scoring 3-1 (6-11, 12-10, 11-5, 11-9) against Luxembourg's Sarah De Nutte. This also becomes the second season's singles championship for her in the WTT and the first season's singles championship back in her homestate of Texas, Feeder Corpus Christi 2024.
In the mixed doubles finals, however, Sreeja with her partner, Doo Hoi Kem and Zhu Chengzhu of Hong Kong China had to face defeat, losing in a rather disappointing manner with a score of four to eleven, eleven to nine, fourteen to seven, and seven to eleven.
In the final of the mixed doubles, Mr. Tan Zhenjie and Liu Xiangxia were not defeated by their fellow Indian compatriots, while the pair with the maximum score of 3-1 (11-9, 7-11, 11-9, 11-0) Sathiyan Gnanasekaran and Manika Batra.
A boy name Sathiyan from G couldn’t win gold in the singles event for men, losing it 3-0 to Kazakhstan's Kirill Gerassimenko (11-9, 13-11, 11-9).
Although in men's doubles, Manush Shah and Manav Thakkar didn’t perform on the same level with Mudit Dani and Akash Pal, who ruptured the title with a 3-1 win (11-7, 11-5, 9-11, 11-6).
