On Wednesday, the World Cup-winning team of Spain decided to end their boycott of the National team after the RFEF announced that it would implement immediate and profound changes in the management.
It was a seven hours long discussion made to implement these changes between the players, RFEF officials, the National Sports Council (CSD), and the women's players union FUTPRO.
Andrew Camps, the Federation's secretary general was asked to leave his duties and between six and nine senior officials of the football federation would be invited to resign or be fired as a part of the agreement to end the boycott.
The players, FUTPRO Union, representatives of the Spanish National Sports Council (CSD), and Rafael Del Amo, the RFEF's head of women's football, dree up the list of RFEF departures.
The players declared that they would not play for Spain until more federation changes were made. This erupted after former RFEF Chief Luis Rubiales kissed Jenni Hermoso on her lips without her consent.
RFEF stated that unifying the logo of the women's national team and men's team was to eliminate the word "female" from it and both teams will be referred to as the "Spanish National Football Team" from now onwards.
The federation promised to provide a "Safe environment" for the players whereas the remaining changes are yet to be made public.
The players stated that they would make the "best decision" for their future and health after they have been asked to stay in the squad. A majority of the Women's World Cup winners were selected for the upcoming tournaments.
