One-third seats in LS will be Reserved for Women, says Home Minister Amit Shah

The inclusion of the "Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam" in the Lok Sabha has been praised by Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister of India on Wednesday. He claimed that this step would help women have more influence over making a bright future for the nation.
The Union Minister mentioned that this bill will guarantee that one-third of the seats in the state assemblies and Lok Sabha will be reserved for women which will start a new chapter in the process of empowering women and also promote fair and gender-inclusive development in the nation.
The new laws and policies will be more effective and inclusive concerning gender which will also strengthen the nation's parliamentary democracy, ensured by Amit Shah.
On the social media platform, X, he wrote and expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for getting the Women's Reservation Bill approved by the Lok Sabha.
According to Amit Shah, women in India have shaped people, families, society, and the economy with their selfless behavior, compassion, and care. The new bill will make women more strong in determining the course of the country.
It has become a historic step for the country to pass the "Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam" which will promote equitable and gender-inclusive development in the country, stated Amit Shah.
He concluded by saying that this step reaffirms the commitment of the Modi Government to driving Female Leadership in the government.
