Sony Introduces Alpha Femme Program for Women Creators in UAE

Sony Middle East & Africa will soon launch the inaugural Sony Alpha Femme in UAE, which is an initiative by females to bring females together for their common interest in photography, videography, and cinematography.
It was announced that this will take place in Dubai in January. Another initiative by Sony to support creativity in this region.
The launch ceremony was held on Saturday, the 17th of January, where women involved in creative industries, professionals, and visual storytellers assembled to learn and network.
Sony Alpha Femme is an international project that aims to empower women who have a passion for visual storytelling. The project involves workshops, which give people, whether amateurs or professionals, a chance to enhance their skills.
The UAE event is the fourth such success in Kuwait, South Africa, Egypt, and Kazakhstan, and reflects Sony's commitment to promoting women's involvement in this area of the world.
The region is seeing a shift in content development, with more emphasis being placed upon photography, videography, and storytelling.
Monthly workshops will be facilitated under the UAE program, which will aid in community engagement and development.
These workshops will offer training, exposure to industry standards with Sony ambassadors and hands-on practice with guest speakers. The workshops shall not be limited to all women, be it starting from scratch or an accomplished creator looking to up skill.
First Workshop: The Garage Studio, Dubai, this Sunday, January 25th, from 10 am-4 pm. Full day session: Knowledge Sharing, Collaboration, Hands-on Information on the Sony Alpha Camera System.
