Smriti, Annabel & Nonkululeko Nominated for ICC Women's Player of the Month Title

India's Smriti Mandhana, Australia's Annabel Sutherland, and South Africa's Nonkululeko Mlaba have been nominated for the ICC Women's Player of the Month award for December. Smriti's impressive performance included a century in the 3rd ODI against Australia along with consecutive half-centuries, Annabel's unbeaten ODI streak, and Nonkululeko Mlaba's 10-wicket haul against England.
Smriti Mandhana, a top batter in the Indian women's cricket team, showed exceptional form in both ODI and T20I matches. Despite a shaky start in the ODI series against Australia, she bounced back with a century in the third ODI smashing 105 off 109 balls. Smriti's dominant performances in the home series against the West Indies and T20I series were remarkable, with her impressive batting skills and striking rate. Smriti scored 270 runs in 6 ODI matches with an average of 45.00 and a strike rate of 91.52, and 193 runs in three T20Is with an average of 64.33 and a strike rate of 59.50, cementing her place as one of the best batters in women's cricket.
Annabel Sutherland, an Australian all-rounder, contributed significantly to her team's unbeaten ODI streak in December. Annabel scored two centuries, a 110 against India and a 105 against New Zealand, and claimed nine wickets across five ODIs with an economy rate of 3.85. Her performance earned her a double Player of the Series award.
Nonkululeko Mlaba, a South African spin bowler, made history with a record-breaking performance in the one-off Test against England, becoming the first South African woman to claim a 10-wicket haul in Tests. She also contributed to the ODI series securing 2 wickets.
