SLASSCOM to Host Flagship Women in Tech Conference

- The theme for this year’s Women in Tech Conference is Give to Gain: Building Inclusive Digital Futures
- The sessions will revolve around how to enable and strengthen women’s participation in the tech industry
SLASSCOM will run a Women in Technology event where there will be discussion of the role of women in the digital economy with participation from female leaders in both Sri Lankan and international markets.
This year’s theme is “Give To Gain – Building Inclusive Digital Futures,” and keynote addresses and panel discussions will include women’s leadership pathways and engagements with technology.
The proceedings of the Women in Technology event will commence with a keynote from Sindhu Gangadharan (Managing Director of SAP Labs India) who is also Chairperson of NASSCOM. The keynote will cover AI and its potential as a workforce enabler for women.
Anna Metz (Senior Digital Specialist at the World Bank) will present a second keynote about the development of inclusive digital ecosystems and developing leaders.
The Women in Technology event will also hold a panel discussion to examine the skills needed to develop future-ready leadership, with a moderator from Uber.
The panel will feature representatives from Dialog Axiata PLC, GTN Technologies, and Planted to discuss leadership challenges in digital-first companies.
At the Dijital Global Conference, we will be addressing the issue of inclusion within today's work environment and how it impacts team performance; among many other topics, governance, risk, digital accountability, etc., in addition to participants from both corporate and technical aspects of their professions.
The conference will also include a fireside chat on leadership, performance and well-being where participants can gain valuable tips about how they can maintain the right balance between work and well-being.
Another session hosted by Tilli will provide insight into what it takes to be an effective entrepreneurial leader in technology.
Also, there will be a masterclass around developing the right mindset needed for advancing in your career, as well as a session focused on long-term leadership, influence and mentorship, featuring leaders from their respective industries.
