Skechers Appoint Cricketer Yastika Bhatia as Brand Ambassador in Performance Category

Indian cricketer Yastika Bhatia has been appointed as Skechers' brand ambassador for the performance category in India. Yastika is the first female player to compete in Skechers cricket boots, following Ishan Kishan. The boots will launch on 30 September 2024 and Yastika will appear in Skechers Performance and Lifestyle campaigns. The partnership aims to appeal to women and younger athletes in India, strengthening Skechers' brand presence in the county.

Yastika Bhatia is a young rising star in Indian women's cricket who is known for her aggressive batting style and exceptional fielding skills. She made her debut in September 2021 and has been a part of India's squad in various formats, including ODIs and T20Is. The 23-year-old player showcases batting prowess and wicketkeeping skills that have made her a valuable asset to the Indian women's cricket team, She has consistently shown her ability to anchor the innings or accelerate the match. She has a composed demeanor ability to adapt to different match situations.

Upon her appointment, Yastika mentioned, "I'm thrilled to be on board with Skechers! For the past six months, I have been training and playing in Skechers Cricket shoes, and the performance and comfort that the shoes provide has been incredible. They are truly a game changer when it comes to footwear. Skechers announced the addition of Indian cricketer Yastika Bahtia to its team of athletes competing wearing its shoes. The diverse group includes Indian football legend Sunil Chhetri, Indian cricketer Ishan Kishan, global icons like Harry Kane, basketball stars, Major League Baseball players, golfers, and pickleball pros. The newly added Cricket boots and other performance and lifestyle footwear for men and women will be available for purchase from September 30 at their website and retail stores in India.
