Women entrepreneurs in Shimla received a significant boost through a one-day entrepreneurship awareness and funding networking programme aimed at improving financial inclusion and business growth opportunities. Organised by the District Industries Centre (DIC) Shimla under the Department of Industries, the initiative brought together around 55 women entrepreneurs from across the district.

Conducted under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Project and implemented through NITCON Limited, the programme focused on equipping women business owners with practical knowledge, access to financial resources, and valuable networking opportunities. The event formed part of broader efforts to strengthen women’s participation in the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) ecosystem.
