Before this, Seema had tenure of more than 5 years with Microsoft, ending her career in Azure Infrastructure Solutions as a Senior Director. During that time, she led enterprise customers on cloud adoption journeys and enterprise-wide infrastructure modernization projects. Her work focused on deeply engaging with organizations that were dealing with digital transformation and hybrid cloud environments.

Prior to Microsoft, she also had a number of leadership roles at IBM including roles in Cloud Computing, Solution Sales, and Enterprise Consulting. In her 25-year career Seema has established a proven track record of being a seasoned business and technical leader, bringing expertise in technical strategy, solution architecture and practice development.

Her appointment coincides with Databricks' continued expansion in India, supported by its widespread adoption of the lakehouse architecture and the rising demand for data platforms.
