Sanjam Sahi Gupta discusses Gender Equality & "Breaking The Glass Ceiling" at G20 Women's Summit

A renowned advocate of gender equality, Sanjam Sahi Gupta had the honor of speaking at the W20 Summit, which was held simultaneously with the G20 summit. Influential leaders, decision-makers, and delegates became a part of this W20 Summit to discuss ways to advance women's rights around the world with a focus on gender equality and the motto of "Leave No Women Behind."

Ms. Sanjam was invited to a panel discussion with the theme "Call to Action - Breaking the Glass Ceiling." The main objectives of this panel discussion were to address those obstacles that women face in their pursuit of leadership roles and to discuss the actions needed to be taken to break the glass ceiling for all women.

Prof. Dr. Neeta Inamdar, Jean Monnet Chair, Head of Manipal Centre for European Studies, MAHE, India, expertly moderated the panel discussion.

Ms. Sanjam shared some of the very crucial points, information, and personal stories to overcome the obstacles to women's advancement during the panel with a focus on the maritime sector. She even discussed the Maritime SheEO Leadership Accelerator Program and in what way she has been able to assist more than 90 women in leadership to achieve their professional success with the help of IMO.
