Former Indian tennis professional Sania Mirza has entered into an agreement with Italian sportswear brand Lotto as the Brand Ambassador and Chief Advisory Member for Women's Sport.

The newly styled partnership is a continuation of their previously established business relationship from the onset of Sania's professional career with Lotto.

With this announcement, Lotto stated, "The collaboration represents a strong connection between our shared values and mutual recognition from very early in her career."

According to Abhishek Ganguly, Agilitas Group's Chief Executive Officer, Sania's partnership with Lotto reflects their commitment to authenticity, confidence, and engaging in sports beyond competition results. He further stated, "She serves as an influential leader across sport, culture, and community in India."

She said Lotto had supported her early in her career, and this current partnership enables her to contribute in a far bigger capacity than just competition. She added that the role presents an opportunity to support how women engage in sport and physical activity.

In her new role as Chief Advisor for Women’s Sports, Sania will work with Lotto on its women’s athleisure and sportswear strategy, including footwear and apparel.

She will be expected to bring perspective from her experience to lead this process of building community and relevance among women consumers.
