SAE India Bengaluru to Host 2nd Edition of 'Shift Forward - Women in Mobility' on July 4

- The conference goals to focus on and empower ladies professionals inside the mobility area
- The event will promote collaboration, innovation, and gender diversity in mobility and engineering industries
The SAE India Bengaluru Section is gearing as much as host the second one version of its flagship convention, Shift Forward – Women in Mobility 2.0, on 4th July Bengaluru.
This 12 months’ event will convene girl’s specialists, engineers, and enterprise leaders across key mobility sectors along with production, deliver chain, automation, electrification, and linked automobile technology. Designed as a day-lengthy immersive experience, the convention will function keynote speeches, panel discussions, fireplace chats, and interactive classes, offering a vibrant platform for networking, recognition, and trade of thoughts.
Rakhi Agarwal, Chairperson of the event, remarked, “Shift Forward is greater than a convention—it’s a movement that fosters visibility, speak, and real action. After the wonderful momentum we saw ultimate 12 months, we’re returning with even more potent memories and broader engagement.”
The 2025 version seeks to highlight the expanding position of women in shaping India’s automobile destiny, mainly in regions of easy energy, clever mobility, and industry innovation. The event also ambitions to foster long-time period expert networks and collaborative opportunities for ladies to thrive inside the mobility sector.
Rakesh Bidre, Chairman of SAE India Bengaluru Section, emphasised, “Women are increasingly more driving transformation across India’s mobility panorama—from EVs to connected tech. With Shift Forward 2.0, we goal to have a good time their impact, enhance their voice, and create a more inclusive ecosystem. We encourage girls from automotive and tech sectors to enroll in and advantage from this network.”
The conference underscores SAE India Bengaluru’s ongoing commitment to gender diversity and inclusive development in India’s evolving mobility industry.
