SAE India Bengaluru organises Conference for Women in Mobility Sector

The SAE India Bengaluru Section is organizing a one-day conference titled 'The Shift Forward - Women Shaping Mobility' on July 5, 2024, in Bengaluru. The event aims to recognize women in the mobility sector and provide a platform for them to showcase their achievements. Dr. Nigar Shaji, Director of ISRO's Aditya Mission will be a keynote speaker during the event, aiming to assist women in finding mentors for their career and future industry generations.
The Bengaluru section of SAE India aims to discuss mobility, global competence centers, manufacturing, supply chain, traditional business operations, startups, regulations, net neutrality, safety, and AI's potential to revolutionize business domains and verticals. According to the Management Committee (MC) of the event, the conference aims to showcase women leaders in various fields, provide a platform to share their viewpoints and thoughts on leadership, and also share their journeys in order to inspire budding professionals.
The conference has been supported and sponsored by various firms celebrating women's potential. The Mobility Outlook has collaborated to showcase its Women in Mobility programme. Nexteer and Volvo have been the Gold sponsors whereas Bosch, Continental, and MathWorks will be the Silver sponsors. The MC has also partnered with the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) to promote a supportive and empowering environment for women in the mobility sector.
