Reema Jain appointed as Vodafone Idea's Chief Digital Officer

Reema Jain has been named as Vodafone Idea's new Chief Digital Officer, reporting to Ravinder Takkar, the company's MD and CEO.

Jain will oversee the company's digital strategy, execution, and adoption.

She previously worked for Unilever as Head of IT, where she was in charge of Supply Chain and delivering Digital solutions for Unilever's global operations. Prior to this assignment, she held global roles at Unilever as IT Director – Digital Integration and IT Director –Application Management. Reema previously worked for GE, where she most recently served as Oracle Technology Leader.

Previously, VIL hired two senior-level executives: Mathan Babu Kasilingam as Executive Vice-President (Technology Security) and Vivek Jain as Executive Vice-President (Return) (Marketing).

Jain has worked in IT Strategy, Technology Delivery, Digital Solutions, ERP, Transformation Project Management, Operational Excellence, Devops, and Agile Methodologies for over 19 years.

Reema earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from Nagpur University. She holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

Ex-CTO Vishant Vora, former legal head Kumar Das, ex-brand officer Kavita Nair, and chief technology security officer (CTSO) Amit Pradhan have all left Vodafone Idea in recent months.

However, the company was able to attract senior talent, such as Jagbir Singh, who was hired as the new CTO. Vivek Jain was named executive vice president of marketing, and Mathan Babu Kasilingam was named executive vice president of technology security.
