Indian shuttler PV Sindhu, one of the medal contenders lost to He Bingjiao in the quarterfinals 16-21, 12-21, and left the Asian Games 2023 empty-handed in the singles competition. It is a depressing time for India as the two-time Olympic champion couldn't make it to the finals. In the previous match, PV Sindhu defeated Indonesia Putri Kusuma Wardani by a score of 2-0 (21-16, 21-16). In a 55-minute match, she won in straight sets of victory.
The Asian Games 2023's Indian women's singles challenge was over at that point.
He Bingjiao had been defeated by PV Sindhu in her previous four out of five matches against the Chinese opponents. She could not do her best in the quarterfinals as she had been in the previous matches and lost the quarterfinals.
PV Sindhu is known for her strong and aggressive playing style, as well as her ability to compete at the highest level of international badminton. She continues to be a prominent figure in Indian sports and has served as an inspiration to many aspiring badminton players in India and around the world.
She has clinched a silver in Jakarta for India whereas the men's badminton team also grabbed silver in Hangzhou. These are recognized as the best matches for Indian badminton players at any international event.
