Pune-based women entrepreneurship accelerator Advvita Incubation has reached a milestone by incubating more than 50 women-owned businesses through its formal incubation and mentorship programs.
Founded in 2017 by Sarika Pratibha Deshmukh, Advvita has emerged as a state-wide initiative fostering inclusive and sustainable women entrepreneurship for women entrepreneurs in Maharashtra. Advvita Incubation Empowers Women Entrepreneurs through Mentorship and Business Development
The vision of Advvita Incubation is to convert aspiration into enterprise. It started as local training sessions and has evolved into an all-round entrepreneurial ecosystem with a 17-step incubation program.
The program guides women through each step of the business development, ranging from idea validation to financial planning, branding, marketing, and investor preparedness.
The flagship co-working space, Jiza Co-Lab, creates an environment for women entrepreneurs from various linguistic and geographic regions to interact, partner, and co-create. Workshops, networking sessions, and peer-learning activities facilitate community-driven development.
Sarika, Founder & Director, Advvita Incubation, shared the milestone: "When a woman entrepreneurialially rises, she not only empowers herself but also her family and community. Each of these 50 businesses is a tale of change—teachers becoming producers, homemakers becoming brand creators, and dreams becoming real."
Advvita Incubation intends to introduce a targeted program for women founders at the early stage, leveraging its success.
The program will include one-on-one mentorship, seed funding to support initial hires or prototypes, and tactical advice on business execution, including pricing, packaging, and customer acquisition.
By October 2025, when there were over 50 women-led business flourishing and more companies in incubation, Advvita Incubation's focus is still on empowering women, improving enterprises, and driving economic development.
