Progress Software Unveils 2026 Akanksha Scholarship for Women in STEM

Committed to empowering the next generation of women leaders in STEM, applications are now open through April 13, 2026
India—March 12, 2026—Progress Software (Nasdaq: PRGS), the trusted provider of AI-powered digital experiences and infrastructure software, today announced that applications are now open for the 2026 Progress Akanksha Scholarship for Women in STEM in India. Completed submissions will be accepted here until April 13, 2026.
The Akanksha Scholarship is a renewable four-year scholarship of up to INR 1,50,000 annually to support tuition and other education-related expenses. The scholarship is open to Indian citizens who identify as women and are currently enrolled in the first year of an undergraduate degree in computer science engineering, computer information systems, software engineering and other related IT disciplines.

As part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, Progress for Tomorrow, the Progress STEM Scholarship Series seeks to support the next global generation of technology leadership. The series includes three separate scholarship programs for students in STEM in the US, Bulgaria and India. Past scholarship recipients have demonstrated remarkable innovation and a strong commitment to societal contributions. Since its inception, the program has awarded scholarships to 23 students across the US and Bulgaria
