India TV organized a ‘SHE’ Conclave 2026, an initiative to celebrate the achievements of women in various fields, focusing on leadership, resilience, and empowerment.
Women leaders, policymakers, defense personnel, artists, and young achievers came together to share their views and insights on leadership, empowerment, and nation-building.
The ‘SHE’ Conclave 2026 took place in New Delhi on 9th March from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. India International Fashion Development Council (IFFD) presented the event, and it was co-presented by UTL Solar and Real Advertising. The event was powered by Shivika Chandan Tilak and had Life Insurance Partner - PNB MetLife India Insurance.
Rekha Gupta, Delhi’s Chief Minister, spoke to the gathering and stressed that there is a need to increase the number of women in politics to take India forward. She also pointed out that a significant step in this direction is the passing of the 33 percent law in Parliament, reserving a seat in Parliament for women.
Women are leading in key areas such as President, Chief Minister, and Union Cabinet Ministers. Women’s participation in politics is required to help more of them emerge to contribute to nation-building.
CM stated that she admires former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj as a role model and leader who took an incredibly difficult portfolio in the Ministry of External Affairs for India while exhibiting grace and dignity.
She indicated that children should be taught values of responsibility and respect for themselves and people from all walks of life in order to encourage citizens to develop a sense of social responsibility and provide an opportunity for everyone to live in a safer society.
A couple of the highlighted discussions at the event included two women in the Indian Air Force, Squadron Leaders Neha and Akansha, discussing their experience as women contributing to operational needs for the Indian Armed Forces and their experience as women serving in the Indian Armed Forces overall.
Zinnia Aurora, who ranked #6 overall in the Civil Services (IAS) Examination throughout India, spoke about her experience.
The SHE Conclave in India TV created enthusiasm among the audience for creating opportunity for women to be leaders, contribute to good governance, serve in the military and in creative and active ways and create an appreciation for gender equity as a foundational element of leadership.
