Priyanka Gandhi to meet Rural Women in Kanker amid Elections Campaign

All political parties, including BJP and Congress, have geared up their election preparations for the Chattisgarh assembly elections. For the first round of voting on 12 seats in the Bastar division, the BJP and Congress have ramped up their votes. Large party leaders frequently traveled to other districts of Chattisgarh as well as the other seven districts of the Bastar division.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other prominent BJP campaigners have been visiting Chattisgarh to engage in active campaigning. On Tuesday, 3 October, PM Modi addressed the public at Jagdalpur's historic Lalbagh ground. The state's ruling party Congress is also making a strong effort. Priyanka Gandhi, the National General Secretary of Congress traveled to Bastar divisions Kanker district on Friday, 6 October where she gave a speech to the general public. It has been reported that Priyanka Gandhi, state Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, all of Chattisgarh's ministers, and senior congress members will attend the Panchayati Raj Mahasammelan that has been organized at Govindpur Ground in Kanker City.

The 518 development works will be inaugurated after the Bhoomi Poojan. Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi will arrive at the ground as per the scheduled time and place where she will meet the rural women and visit various stalls that have been set up to display the state government's programs and schemes. After that, CM Bhupesh Baghel and Priyanka Gandhi will participate in the Panchayati Raj Mahasammelan and perform the Bhoomi Pujan moving forward to inaugurate 518 development projects worth Rs 866 crore.
