Ten remarkable women from diverse backgrounds received accolades at the third edition of the International Women Achievers and Young Star Achievers Awards. The ceremony, organized by the Cubbon Park Walkers Association and the Cubbon Park Walkers Forum, aimed to celebrate the exceptional contributions of these women to society.

Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy presided over the event at Ravindra Kalashetra and personally felicitated the awardees. In his address, Reddy lauded the noble initiative, highlighting the importance of recognizing women achievers across various fields. He emphasized that such recognition serves as a source of inspiration and motivation for countless others.

The awards honoured women who have made significant impacts in fields as diverse as music, medicine, media, sports, and dance. These women have not only excelled in their respective domains but have also made a tangible difference in society through their work. Minister Reddy acknowledged their commendable efforts and expressed hope that their achievements would pave the way for more women to embrace opportunities and make a positive societal impact.

Umesh Kumar, the President of the Cubbon Park Walkers Association, shared insights into the selection process for this year's awardees. He underscored the organization's commitment to identifying and celebrating resilient women who have defied the odds to carve out a name for themselves. Kumar noted that the honorees were chosen from across South India, reflecting the widespread reach and impact of this initiative.
