Preeti Gupta Named Chief Business Officer of Van Heusen Innerwear

Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands Limited has hired Preeti Gupta to be the Chief Business Officer for Van Heusen Innerwear.

This appointment enhances the company's strategic position in India's rivaling innerwear and comfort wear market.

Preeti is a graduate of the National Institute of Fashion Technology with over 25 years of multi-category experience in intimate wear, fashion, and digital-first retail environments, having successfully led some of the largest brands through periods of fundamental business transformation.

She began her career with Madura Garments (ABFRL) with a mandate to tackle the portfolio of Allen Solly Womenswear - achieving the EBITDA positive mark, within 2 years. She also contributed to building early buying and merchandising operations for Esprit in India.

She then joined Reliance Retail, as part of the founding leadership team at Reliance Trends - establishing and leading categories of women's westernwear and non-apparel, developing private labels and exclusive brands, and scaling key planning, sourcing, and merchandising capabilities.

She then went on to become the Chief Operating Officer at Enamor (Modenik Lifestyle) for upwards of six years, where she helped reshape the positioning of the brand, launch a new category contributing over 25 percent of revenues, redesigned retail identity, and supported business growth of nearly three times.

She also spearheaded initiatives that improved EBITDA and contributed to the brand's acquisition by Advent International.

Prior to this, she was the Chief Business Officer – Owned Brands at Nykaa Fashion. She has founded and scaled Nykd by Nykaa to ₹200 crore ARR in four years, while scaling distribution to over 2,000 general trade outlets and 40+ exclusive stores, and leading profitable operations.

Preeti has also spearheaded the acquisition and expansion of the athleisure brand, Kica, and managed Nykaa's owned brands marketplace and retail operations. She was the Board Member for FSN Distribution.

With her appointment, ABLBL is expected to further strengthen its competitive position, as brand-building, product innovation, and retail expansion will be of great importance in the evolving innerwear market.
