PM Modi describes Women as 'Matrishakti' in his first meeting with party workers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has described women as "the real strength behind Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) rise, it's because of the support of the women power that the government is able to take important decisions for the country's development". Modi encouraged BJP members to "connect with the maximum number of voters by inviting micro-donation through NaMo App by holding a contest at each booth" in his first meeting with party workers following the issuance of the model code of conduct.
On Tuesday, while interacting with over 10,000 BJP workers in his parliamentary constituency of Varanasi through the NaMo App, he asked Sima Devi, the booth unit president, if 'matrishakti' (women power) was happy or not. “All of these achievements have become possible because of the blessings of ‘matrishakti’,” Modi said after receiving a response that government schemes like LPG and tap water connections, opening bank accounts under Jan Dhan Yojana, and building houses under PM Awas Yojana while ensuring title of property in their names had not only made their lives easier, but also increased their honour and pride.
"Aap jaisan bahinin ke aashirwad hamar asli shakti haue (the blessing of you all sisters is our real power)," Modi remarked, adding that "women of the country took decisions wisely in order to give the opportunity to serve the country. It enables us to make all these things possible".
Analysts say that all these schemes of the Modi government have been launched with focus on women and have been largely responsible for BJP getting the support of women.
PM instructed party members to hold a competition at each booth in a drive mode by January 30 to reach out to people for micro donations using the NaMo App, exhorting them to 'push people to come out and vote, since each vote counts’. Modi stated, "collection of money should not be the objective. The micro donation of meagre amounts from Rs 5 to Rs 10 should be invited to add maximum people with party.”
