Pizza Hut Singapore Names Ailsa Tan as Marketing Director
By: Global Woman Leader Team | Friday, 19 June 2026
Pizza Hut Singapore announced the appointment of Ailsa Tan as its new Director – Marketing and Food Innovation, bolstering its leadership team as the QSR brand remains committed to customer engagement, menu innovation and business growth. Tan will take over in June 2026, following another leadership change that was announced earlier this year.
As part of her new role, Ailsa will spearhead the marketing and food innovation portfolio for Pizza Hut Singapore, handling brand strategy, integrated marketing communications, customer experience and product innovation. Her job is expected to involve driving the brand's relevance, improving consumer engagement and helping the company grow in the highly competitive food services market in Singapore.
With over 18 years of marketing and brand leadership experience, Ailsa has built and scaled brands in Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the U.S. During her tenure, she has worked with global technology and enterprise organisations, honing her skills in strategic marketing, brand positioning, integrated communications and customer-focused campaigns.
She has worked across the entire marketing spectrum from brand development to digital marketing, public relations, experiential marketing, media strategy, activations and guerrilla marketing campaigns. She has also spearheaded cross-functional projects that have focused on improving customer engagement, driving business expansion, and building business resilience in various global markets.
Key Highlights:
- Ailsa Tan appointed Director – Marketing and Food Innovation at Pizza Hut Singapore
- Brings 18+ years of global marketing and brand leadership experience
- Will lead marketing, menu innovation, and customer engagement to drive business growth
The move is also timely as Pizza Hut Singapore has been working hard to improve their menu innovation, digital transformation and customer experience. The company also announced previously, in early 2026, the resignation of its former Director of Marketing and Food Innovation, and a search for a new Director of Marketing and Food Innovation as part of its leadership change process.
Pizza Hut Singapore has set its sights high to improve its market standing through its commitment to tasty innovations, increased value propositions and a digital-first customer experience. The marketing and food innovation function is central to these efforts as it connects the dots between consumer insights and product development and integrated brand campaigns.
Pizza Hut is a part of Yum, worldwide. Brands are one of the world's largest pizza restaurant groups with almost 20,000 restaurants in over 110 markets and territories. The company is committed to digital ordering, menu innovation and sustainability efforts and continues to build customer engagement by leveraging technology.
Ailsa is expected to be a major force in the next phase of Pizza Hut Singapore's growth, as she brings extensive experience and a proven track record to the brand in building brands across multiple regions. The appointment underscores the company's ongoing focus on delivering innovative food products and effective marketing tactics to reinforce customer loyalty and its position as a leader in the fast-food market in Singapore.
