Oyo announces Collaboration with Adventure Women to encourage Solo Female Travel
By: WE Staff | Friday, 11 November 2022
The travel organisation Adventure Women India and the hospitality technology platform OYO launched a long-term strategic relationship to support women's active and adventurous lifestyles. Members of the group will receive a number of perks as well as the ease of selecting from a network of secure, sanitary, and reasonably priced lodgings as part of the engagement, according to OYO.
Adventure Women India partners with businesses in the travel sector, such as tour operators and hotels, and gives its members the option to select their travel suppliers from a range of trustworthy and secure vendors.
According to OYO, the agreement will enable customers to find and reserve hotels that best meet their needs in terms of price and location.
The majority of the 1.5 lakh women that make up Adventure Women India's membership are between the ages of 25 and 45.
Through a network of 21 regional city chapters in India and 2 foreign chapters in Bhutan and Mauritius, their volunteers provide assistance to members.
Since more and more Indian women are choosing to travel alone, we wish to promote the trend of women travelling alone by contributing in some small way. OYO Chief Growth Officer Kavikrut stated, "We are thrilled to work with Adventure Women India and help them in their inspirational cause.
Adventure Women India co-founder Minal Mathur said, "Our community provides a secure ecosystem of peers, influencers and experts for its members to engage freely, allowing them to interact without fear of being judged. We are excited at this new beginning with OYO, which will go a long way towards meeting the diverse requirements of our members".
