Nimbus provides N20m to Support Women-owned SMEs

Nimbus has provided N20m to 10 women-owned startups and SMEs in advertising support, resulting in more than 2.8 million unique views throughout the high-traffic areas of Lagos. This has been achieved by Nimbus Media Limited's corporate social responsibility program, The Nimbus Aid Project, which claimed to have made significant progress towards its goal of assisting Nigerian small and medium-sized businesses and also nonprofit organizations.
The Nimbus Aid Project was started in 2016, which has provided a positive impact on 13 organizations with 11 of them being owned by women. The initiative’s strategic efforts have improved the development of the community, increased access to necessary services, and has also increased economic resilience.
Wale Adegoke, Chief Executive Officer of Nimbus Media Ltd. explained the Mission of Nimbus Aid Project that, they believe in profound responsibility in businesses to contribute positively towards the society. Improvement of the lives of those people who need it most is the commitment of this project.
The women-owned businesses are assisted by this project which is a crucial step taken towards advancing gender equality in entrepreneurship and encouraging more women to assume leadership positions.
Oluyemi Orija, the Managing Partner at HeadFort Foundation and a beneficiary praised the program as a game-changer for companies.
