The first all-women branch was opened in Chennai by the leading NBFC firm Sundaram Finance. India's first all-women branch is located at Koramangala, Bangalore which opened a few months back.
A resource for women who need financial guidance and services will be handled by the Chennai branch. The statement released by the company also mentioned the guidance it will provide to its women employees regarding financial investments, performance, restructuring, transmission, etc.
They will be provided with exclusive services such as insurance, demats, deposits, health policies, bonds, and mutual funds.
With Sundaram Finance, numerous AMCs and insurance firms are collaborating to support their awareness drive for financial literacy. There will be financial education programmes held every week for women that will feature some great experts. They will guide various subjects including loans, investments, and insurance. The subscribers for this firm will be provided with webinars on the subject matter by the specialists. The primary aim of this branch conducting such campaigns is to educate women about financial independence and literacy.
Through their regular training sessions, the branch will also look into women’s empowerment, their development, and also upskilling in financial corporations.
