As part of its effort to empower women and assist them in sports, MG Motor India established a partnership with professional golfer Tvesa Malik.
She will represent the MG Motor brand in numerous tournaments and competitions as a result of the partnership, according to the firm.
The three-year partnership with Malik represents MG's commitment to nurturing and developing emerging talent, according to the statement.
Udit Malhotra, MG Motor India's Head of Marketing, stated, "India is a land rich in talent and home to a variety of popular sports, including golf.
This partnership aligns with our basic beliefs of encouraging young women to participate in sports."
Golf has the potential to place India on the world map, he noted, because of the increased interest of young people, particularly women, in the sport.
On her part, Malik said, "It's good to see companies like MG Motor coming forward to nurture women's talent in sports. I'm happy to embark on this journey with them and hope to inspire more women to take up golf in India."
