MG Motor India Looking to Increase Women In Workforce to 50%

An official statement released by MG Motor India that the firm seeks to see 50 per cent more women working for the company. At present, 34 per cent of the workforce is made up of women. Drive Her Back is a program the company has launched to assist women who want to go back into the workforce. Not just the automotive industry, the women returning to the workforce are eligible for all the sectors in this firm under this initiative. They are employed under a one-year contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance. To "relaunch them back into the industry" is the company's stated goal. They also assist them in obtaining other opportunities in the event that they aren't accepted.
MG Motor India has taken a commendable step to encourage gender diversity and inclusivity in the workplace with this initiative. Observing businesses take the initiative to foster a more diverse and equitable workplace is encouraging.
The Astor, Gloster, Hector Hector, Comet, and ZS EV are among the five models offered by the company. It has stated that it encourages women to rejoin the workforce regardless of the amount of time of any breaks they may have taken, including maternity leaves.
