In the month of December 2024, renowned philanthropist Melinda French Gates has made an announcement regarding her donation of $1 million in total which will be for the organisations that are dear to her in honor of Giving Tuesday.
Additionally, Vote Mama Foundation caters to help in supporting mother who are running for political office while Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers advocates for those who care for others in regards.
“I’m excited to share that I’m partnering with @everydotorg this giving season to mobilize the power of everyday givers—those who do what they can, with what they have, to make a difference. Starting today through December 13, my organization Pivotal is matching up to $1 million in donations in support of two organizations I deeply admire: Vote Mama Foundation and @rcicaregiving,” Melinda said in an Instagram Video.
She also mentioned, “I learned the importance of giving back from my parents, who taught me and my siblings that we had a responsibility to help make life better for others.” This donation shall help the organisation to further enhance and scale their productivity in the coming future.
