Maharashtra's Women and Child Development Department has ranked first among 48 Mantralaya departments in implementing Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis' 100-day programme, enhancing efficiency, transparency, and citizen-centric governance.

CM Fadnavis praised the campaign, noting, "This 100-day programme is about accountability, transparency, and efficient administration. These excellent officers have set an example for others."

The NCP's Aditi Tatkare-led department scored 80 per cent in an evaluation by the Quality Council of India, surpassing others like Public Works (77.94 per cent), Agriculture (66.54 per cent), and Rural Development (63.58 per cent). The department's success was attributed to initiatives like the Mukhya Mantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme, Digital Governance, and Poshan Abhiyan.

The Indian Quality Council evaluated a 100-day office improvement programme, identifying the top five in website enhancement, facilities, grievance redressal, ease of living, investment promotion, and technology use. The top-ranked individuals on the list include the Palghar superintendent of police, Chandrapur district collector, Mira-Bhayandar police commissioner, Ulhasnagar municipal commissioner, Thane Zilla Parishad, and Director of Technical Education.

The WCD Department also updated content management systems, conducted website security audits, and converted 13,011 mini Anganwadi centers into Anganwadis.
