Maharashtra Launches 'Adishakti Abhiyan' to Empower Women in Grassroots Governance

According to a central authority resolution (GR) issued on July 1, the campaign’s progress can be evaluated based totally on unique indicators, with the overview duration scheduled for January–February 2026 and award ceremonies expected in March. For the cutting-edge cycle, projects performed among May 22 and December 31, can be assessed, as the marketing campaign became officially released mid-yr.
To ensure fair and transparent evaluation, the nation has restructured its assessment committees. At the taluka stage, panels will contain organization improvement officers, female health officials, senior anganwadi supervisors, NGO representatives, and infant improvement assignment officers. At the district stage, creditors will lead the committees, joined by using senior officials from health, schooling, rural improvement, and WCD departments.
