Maharashtra BJP leader Ram Kadam has suggested that the upcoming session of the Maharashtra Assembly may discuss stricter laws for women's safety, following an incident of harassment involving Union Minister of State Raksha Khadse's daughter.

BJP leader Ram Kadam emphasized the state government's commitment to ensuring security for all citizens and supported suggestions to review the Shakti Bill, which was passed in 2021 to strengthen laws against crimes targeting women and children. He notes "Whether it is the common man, political or actor, our state government is committed to providing security to all."

Jalgaon Police arrested one of seven accused in harassment of Union Minister Raksha Khadse's daughter along with several other girls during the Shivratri yatra in Muktainagar. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis pledges to take all necessary steps and engage the opposition, ensuring security for all, including women, says BJP leader Ram Kadam.

On the murder case of Haryana Congress worker, Himani Narwal, the BJP leader seeks immediate action against the killers, slamming Congress for the murder and pointing to past criminal activities of some leaders. He added "Every woman deserves justice and respect."

BJP leader Kadam dismissed 'Saamana' newspaper article, suggesting political unease in ruling coalition. Saamana and its leaders have become prone to making incorrect predictions about the future, while all three alliance partners are dedicated to serving society's poorest, he added.
