- Lavanya Pachisia has quit Zivame after almost eight years of working for the firm
- Pachisia became a member of Zivame in December 2017 as Vice President of Finance and Operations
- She assisted in streamlining the company's operations and finances as Zivame grew throughout India
Lavanya Pachisia shared on LinkedIn that she is leaving Zivame after nearly eight years with the innerwear and lingerie company, stating that her time at Zivame has been one of the most rewarding experiences in her professional life.
Lavanya was brought aboard in December 2017 to help lead Zivame as Vice President of Finance and Operations, with a focus on enhancing the financial soundness of Zivame as the company expanded the business across India in other key operational areas.
In 2021, Pachisia was promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Zivame and to Chief Executive Officer in June 2022.
During Lavanya's tenure at Zivame, the company continued its evolution from a purely consumer-direct online business to more of an omnichannel brand, expanding retail distribution and investing in supply chain, product design, sourcing, and technology capabilities.
She was focused on gaining access and sizing to touch more customers from a much wider set of consumer universes in India.
Listening to herself reminisce about her experience, she described her role developing from being merely a role as her mission was to empower Zivame's by placing intimate wear in the hands of women across the nation.
Before joining Zivame, she held senior positions at Nike India, Tejas Networks, and Symphony Services and had vast experience in finance and operations.
At Nike India, she was involved in strategic projects related to treasury management, GST implementation, and customer segmentation. At Tejas Networks, she was looking after M&A projects and board-level financial reporting.
In her farewell message, Pachisia thanked her colleagues and mentors for the learning experience, appreciating the warmth and comprehension of company culture. Lavanya ended on a positive note, anticipating new opportunities, and the next chapter of her career is in waiting.
