Laila Nutraceutical's Launches Womens Wellness Initiative at Davos

Laila Nutraceuticals has announced a new initiative in women's wellness at the World Economic Forum (WEF), Davos. The program will be led by Vice President of Business Development Yuthika Gokaraju.

It provides preventive and life-stage-aligned healthcare solutions. This initiative intends to address current gaps in women's healthcare using scientifically validated methods.

Investment and Scientific Infrastructure to support this expansion, the company is investing approximately ₹350 crore to augment its manufacturing capabilities.

The platform combines traditional Indian botanical research with modern clinical science using patented bioactive and specific delivery systems.

Laila Nutraceuticals claims an infrastructure comprising over 150 scientists and more than 20 patented ingredients. The company operates cGMP-compliant manufacturing facilities and maintains partnerships across 25 countries.

Focus areas of the platform also include reproductive health in young women, endocrinal changes, metabolism, bone health, brain functions, and geriatric health.

It is also recommended that the initiative to be launched with the regulatory oversight of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) and the Ministry of AYUSH.

Smriti Irani, a former Indian union minister, accepted the launch of the initiative, considering the health relevance of women's well-being in terms of economy.

Operations in the Company and Market Situation Laila Nutraceuticals operate as a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) and offers end-to-end services in accordance with international requirements.

They currently export to countries such as the USA, Bangladesh, and Brazil. This particular project aims to capitalize on an emerging trend in the market to address female healthcare needs through clinically verified health provisions developed for female physiology.
