King Khan's Swagger & Bolly Glitz at Tata WPL 2024 Opening Ceremony

The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium at Bengaluru witnessed the opening ceremony and inaugural match of Tata Women's Premier League 2024 (TATA WPL) that was scheduled between the two powerful teams, defending champions and the runner-ups of TATA WPL 2023. The inaugural ceremony of Women's Premier League 2024 (TATA WPL 2024) started with a bang with the greatest Bollywood starts performing on stage including Shah Rukh Khan, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Tiger Shroff, and Shahid Kapoor.
Shah Rukh Khan gave an electrifying performance that began with a grand entry and an inspiring speech. His dance moves stole the show and his signature pose from 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' being the final cherry on the cake. New age actor Kartik Aaryan also put up a spectacular performance, opening the ceremony. This was followed by Bollywood star Sidharth Malhotra’s performance. Tiger Shroff, Varun Dhawan and Shahid Kapoor also showcased their best foot forward to enthrall the audience.
Mumbai Indians made the Friday match as the most exciting openers with a nail-biting finish by scoring a six at the last ball. MI needed 5 runs in just 1 ball to beat the Delhi Capitals margin which was achieved by Sanjeevan Sajana with her phenomenal SIX.
The opening ceremony started at 6:30 p.m. and soon after its conclusion by 8 p.m. the match began by a toss. The toss was in favor of MI Captain, Harmanpreet Kaur who decided to bowl first. DC Skipper Meg Lanning along with Shafali Verma reached the ground to play their first innings.
