The Confederation of Indian Industry's (CII) 2024 "SheLeads" Women Leadership Summit was supported by the renowned cement manufacturer industry in Kashmir, Khyber Cement. The remarkable event was organized at a hotel in Srinagar, where it praised and celebrated the accomplishments of female leaders in Kashmir. The summit provided a vibrant environment for empowerment, information sharing, and networking.
Kyber Cement demonstrated its dedication to becoming the top cement brand in Kashmir and improving society by sponsoring the event. The organization aims to encourage and inspire women, motivating them to overcome obstacles and succeed in their respective fields. During the summit, prominent female executives from a range of industries took part in the panel discussions, sharing their viewpoints on the issues including women's empowerment, diversity and inclusion, innovation, and leadership techniques.
Prominent panelists included Ms. Tazayun Mukhtar, DY. Excise Commissioner Executive, Government of J&K; Prof. Nilofer Khan, Vice Chancellor of Kashmir University; and Ms. Nighat Shafi Pandith, Chairperson of HELP Foundation. These notable women shared their views and experiences with the attendees and urged them to strive for excellence. Supporting gender equality and inclusivity actively is the roadway to demonstrate the commitment to social responsibility and community development of society by the Khyber Cement industry. The leading industry also supports women's empowerment through sponsorship of the Women Leadership Summit 2024, providing training sessions on tailoring, and establishing a computer lab in a local school.
