JSW Sports Signs U19 World Cup Captain Niki Prasad

- JSW Sports has signed Niki Prasad
- She was the captain of the Indian team which won the ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup
- She has recently led India to the U19 Asia Cup and the U19 World Cup in Malaysia
Niki Prasad has been signed by JSW Sports as their newest player for their inaugural season Championship Cup and she will continue to represent India at the International level for many years to come.
Niki leads India's national Women’s U19 cricket team which has had phenomenal success winning the T20 World Cup and U19 Asia Cup and she was also Captain for the U19 team when they won both competitions.
As a member of the Women’s Premier League team, Delhi Capitals, she has played in 18 matches to date, scoring a total of 153 runs at an average of 30.60 including 47 runs as her highest innings score for the tournament over two seasons.
Speaking on the occasion of the signing, Himanshu Sharma, Head of Talent and Brand Consulting at JSW Sports, said, “Niki has shown great leadership skills at a young age, in addition to her consistent performances at both domestic and international youth levels.”
Speaking on the occasion of her joining JSW Sports, Prasad said, “I am glad to have joined JSW Sports and look forward to the opportunities provided by the organisation as I look ahead in my sporting journey.”
The list of athletes currently managed by JSW Sports includes Indian cricketers Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma, Axar Patel, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, and Suryansh Shedge.
