Job Fair Tailored for Women to be Held in Dharwad

A job fair tailored for women, organized by the Janata Shikshan Samiti and Rapid Society of Dharwad, is scheduled for October 29 at the Utsav Hall in JSS College. This noteworthy event aims to create employment opportunities specifically for women.
Some prominent figures, including Aequs Chief Technical Officer Ravi Guttal and Tata Motors Dharwad Plant Head Amitav Sahay, will be in attendance. This reflects the significance of the event and the commitment of various organizations to support women in their professional journeys.
More than 1,000 women have already registered for the job fair, and on-the-spot registration is also available for those who meet the criteria. Eligible participants should be women aged under 45 and possess an SSLC qualification.
A total of 40 companies, representing various industries, are participating in the job fair. This diverse range of potential employers increases the chances of women finding suitable job opportunities.
The event is scheduled to run from 10 am to 6 pm, providing ample time for participants to explore potential career paths, interact with company representatives, and apply for positions that match their skills and aspirations.
Importantly, this job fair emphasizes the importance of helping women secure meaningful employment in the twin cities. To further enhance the prospects for job-seeking women, local companies have been actively invited to participate.
