- Strong sales reflect growing interest in various cultural, natural, and forest-based products of Jharkhand
As recorded by the IPRD department at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025, women entrepreneurs from Jharkhand collectively generated sales exceeding ₹30 lakh with their ‘Palash’ and ‘Aadiva’ product lines.
The Aadiva brand, which consists of traditional crafts from the districts of Bokaro, Giridih and East Singhbhum, generated sales of ₹14.84 lakh. It attracted considerable interest due to its eco-friendly and cultural alignment.
The Palash brand generated over ₹30.72 lakh in sales which illustrates the growing demand for Jharkhand’s natural and forest-sourced goods.
According to officials, the continued training, market linkages and support which they have received have enabled rural women access to national exposure and to improve their income.
The attainment of Sakhi Mandal’s women illustrates how far economically empowered rural communities have come in Jharkhand and increases the overall economic empowerment of the communities.
