The 14th Hockey India Junior Women National Championship 2024 is taking place from September 30 September to October 10, 2024, at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh AstroTurf Hockey Stadium in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The tournament features 26 teams from eight pools, with a series of matches leading up to the finals. The championship is a crucial platform for young athletes to showcase their skills and gain experience in high-level competition while identifying and nurturing grassroots talent for the future of Indian hockey.

Hockey India President Dilip Tirkey and Secretary General Shri Bhola Nath Singh promoted the Junior Women National Championship to develop grassroots hockey talent. Tirkey believes the tournament helps young athletes showcase their skills and gain experience in top-level tournaments, benefiting their sporting careers.
